Islamabad Placed on High Security Alert; All Police Leaves Cancelled

ISLAMABAD (HRNW): A high security alert has been issued in the federal capital following heightened regional tensions and potential security threats. According to official sources, the Islamabad Police have cancelled the leaves of all officers and personnel, including DIGs, SSPs, and SHOs, directing them to report to their duty stations immediately. Security has been significantly tightened at all entry and exit points of the city, with extra contingents deployed at sensitive government buildings, diplomatic missions, and public places such as markets and worship sites. Enhanced patrolling and snap-checking of vehicles are currently underway to monitor any suspicious activities and ensure the safety of citizens. Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and report any unusual behavior or abandoned items to the Police Helpline 15 or the nearest police station.
