Karachi (HRNW) — A sudden fire erupted in a cargo bogie at Karachi Cantt Railway Station, one of the city’s busiest train hubs. According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, the Central Command and Control Center responded immediately upon receiving the alert.
Rescue 1122’s fire and rescue teams, along with ambulances and fire brigade trucks, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the teams quickly began firefighting operations to control the blaze.
The spokesperson confirmed that the fire is currently under control and all people near the cargo bogie have been safely evacuated. No casualties have been reported so far.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, while Rescue 1122 teams remain fully alert and monitoring the situation.
