China Unveils Advanced YKJ-1000 Hypersonic Glide Missile

Beijing (HRNW)- China has made a surprising breakthrough in hypersonic technology by introducing a new hypersonic glide missile, the YKJ-1000, which has stunned global defense analysts.

Developed by aerospace company Lingkang Tiansheng, this advanced missile is capable of hitting targets up to 1,300 kilometers and can travel at seven times the speed of sound.

Due to its unique design, this missile is also being called a “cement-coated missile” because its surface is covered with a special type of concrete-like heat-resistant foam, which is commonly used in the construction industry.

According to Chinese media, after successful combat tests, this missile is being mass-produced. Surprisingly, its price per unit is said to be only 99 thousand US dollars, which is much lower than the world’s most expensive American defense system.

The extremely low cost and hypersonic speed have surprised global defense experts. Analysts say that such a cheap hypersonic missile could change future military strategies, as most countries’ defense systems are very expensive in comparison.

According to military technology expert Professor Wei Dongshu, “If the YKJ-1000 enters the global market, its demand will increase dramatically, as many countries are still unable to produce hypersonic weapons.”

On the other hand, some experts have raised questions about how the expensive components, engines and special fuels of hypersonic technology were developed on such a small budget? The company has announced that it will soon issue a detailed explanation in this regard.

Defense analysts are calling the YKJ-1000 a major breakthrough in hypersonic technology, which can take on central importance in modern war strategies due to its speed, flexibility and ability to evade defense systems.
