Beijing (HRNW)– China Urges Pakistan and Afghanistan to Resolve Tensions Through Dialogue

For the first time, China has responded to rising tensions and disputes between Pakistan and Afghanistan. A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gu Jiaqin, emphasized that both countries should adopt dialogue to reduce tensions and resolve differences through diplomatic talks. He highlighted that Pakistan and Afghanistan are traditional neighbors of China and stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The Chinese spokesperson also offered China’s readiness to work with the international community to play a constructive role in improving bilateral relations. This statement comes amid recent border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan and follows previous talks held in Doha, Istanbul, and Riyadh, which have so far yielded limited results.
