London (HRNW)- Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s wife, Shumaila Farooq, has passed away in London. The deceased had been forced to live a very humble life due to severe financial difficulties and illness for a long time.
According to sources, Shumaila Farooq was suffering from stage four throat cancer, due to which she had also lost the ability to speak. Due to medical weakness, she collapsed at a railway station in London a few days ago, after which the hospital staff shifted her to Guy’s Hospital in a wheelchair.
Shumaila Farooq passed away after a long illness.
Dr. Imran Farooq was murdered in London in 2010, after which his family was facing severe economic and social difficulties. Various political and social circles are expressing grief over the death of Shumaila Farooq.
