Karachi (HRNW)- A sad incident of brutal torture on a domestic worker has come to light in the buffer zone. In the video that went viral on social media, it can be clearly seen that a man is not only torturing the domestic worker but also pushing her down the stairs, due to which the woman was seriously injured.
According to police officials, the incident took place on December 11. The accused Noman, who committed the torture, has been absconding since the incident, and special police teams have been formed to search for him.
A case number 217/25 has been registered in Gabol Town Police Station, Central District, on the complaint of the victim woman. Other sections including torture and attempt to murder are likely to be included in the case.
Police say that in light of the evidence in the video, the absconding accused will be arrested soon and action will be taken as per the law.
