Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) – A Lamborghini luxury car has been imported into Pakistan via Karachi Port, with an estimated value of approximately Rs. 220 million.
The incident has sparked discussions on social media, with many noting that while the government is spending Rs. 13.5 billion on acquiring Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), luxury vehicles worth Rs. 20–40 crore are also being imported.
Analysts have commented that such actions may raise eyebrows at international institutions like the IMF, especially when the government seeks financial assistance from these organizations to meet its debt and funding requirements.
