Allegations of Corruption Emerge at Kohsar Hospital

Hyderabad, Pakistan (HRNW) – Tensions have risen at Kohsar Hospital in Hyderabad following allegations of corruption against Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Jamil Khan and RMO Dr. Arshad Khanzada. Sources indicate that local residents raising concerns about the alleged misconduct are reportedly facing threats and intimidation.

According to residents, ever since Dr. Jamil Khan and Dr. Arshad Khanzada assumed their positions, hospital medicines have allegedly been diverted and sold in outside medical stores, creating serious difficulties for patients visiting the hospital.

Local citizens expressed that, despite being a government facility, patients are forced to run from pillar to post for basic treatment and medicines. They also claim that facilities meant for poor patients are diminishing, while attempts are being made to silence those who lodge complaints.

Residents and social circles have urged higher authorities, the Sindh Health Department, and the hospital administration to conduct a prompt, transparent, and impartial inquiry into the alleged corruption and intimidation at Kohsar Hospital, so that the truth can be revealed and patients receive the services and care they are entitled to.
