New York – United States (HRNW)- The international financial magazine Bloomberg has released its annual list titled “World’s Richest Families 2025,” ranking the 25 wealthiest families across the globe. According to the report, the combined wealth of these families rose by $358.7 billion over the past year, bringing their total net worth to an unprecedented $2.9 trillion.
The list features three of the Arab world’s most influential and affluent dynasties: the Al Nahyan family of the United Arab Emirates, the Al Saud royal family of Saudi Arabia, and the Al Thani family of Qatar.
Bloomberg named Abu Dhabi’s ruling Al Nahyan family the second-richest family in the world, with an estimated wealth of $335.9 billion. They were followed by Saudi Arabia’s Al Saud royal family, ranked third, possessing a combined fortune of $213.6 billion. Qatar’s Al Thani family, which governs the Gulf nation, secured the fourth position, with total assets valued at $199.5 billion.
At the top of the global ranking, America’s Walton family, owners of the retail giant Walmart, retained their position as the world’s wealthiest family, with an estimated fortune of $513.4 billion.
The Bloomberg report reflects how dynastic wealth continues to expand, fueled by industrial empires, sovereign investments, and diversified global holdings across technology, energy, and retail sectors.
