Tehran, Iran (HRNW) – Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi has reportedly been rearrested in Iran after publicly criticizing human rights abuses.
Mohammadi faces imprisonment on charges including “propaganda against the state” and may have been assaulted during detention. HRNW condemns the violation of her rights and demands clarity on her whereabouts, immediate release, and accountability for abuses against human rights defenders.
