Islamabad (HRNW)– On the instructions of the Chairman FBR, Rashid Mahmood Langrial, Taxpayers Services (TPS) Wing, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), under supervision of Member Ms. Tehmina Aamer conducted a comprehensive Tax Awareness Outreach Session at The Millennium Universal College (TMUC), Islamabad, as part of its ongoing nationwide initiative to promote tax literacy among students and youth.

The FBR team was led by Mr. Muhammad Muti-ur-Rehman Mumtaz, Secretary Tax Education & Facilitation, accompanied by Mr. Abdul Rehman Sheikh, Second Secretary Tax Facilitation, and other TPS officials. TMUC’s senior management, including Ms. Muneeze Muzaffar, Head of Institute and Ms. Ramsha Qamar, Coordinator Student Life & CDC participated alongside a large number of students.
During the session, the FBR officials delivered presentations covering the mandate, functions, and role of FBR, along with key taxation concepts aimed at fostering compliance among future taxpayers. Students actively engaged with the speakers, raising detailed queries on tax processes and obligations. The FBR team addressed each question comprehensively, reflecting the organization’s commitment to transparency and public facilitation.
Participants appreciated FBR’s efforts to enhance tax awareness and strengthen its outreach to educational institutions. To encourage engagement, prizes were distributed among students which was followed by an interactive Q&A session.
The session concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between FBR and TMUC representatives, underscoring mutual cooperation in promoting tax education and compliance culture across academic platforms.
