The Leader of JUP, Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, specially attended the meeting and administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers.

Concerns Over National Situation

In his address, Dr. Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair stated that to pull the country out of its current crisis, honest leadership, transparent accountability, effective economic reforms, and restoration of law and order are essential.
He said that widespread loot, street crime, and lawlessness have made citizens’ lives miserable. Government corruption, nepotism, and maladministration have destroyed the credibility of state institutions. Rising corruption has halted national development and deeply damaged public trust.

Expressing serious concern over the ongoing economic crisis, he said the economy is passing through the worst phase, inflation has reached historic levels, and people are struggling for basic necessities. Failed economic policies have pushed the country into a crippling debt trap.

Commenting on the deteriorating law-and-order situation, he said that increasing corruption continues to hinder development and further erode public confidence. He appreciated the Provincial Election Committee for conducting transparent and well-organized elections across Sindh, calling their role vital and commendable in rebuilding the party’s organizational structure.

Addresses by Newly Elected Office-Bearers

Newly elected Provincial President Syed Aqeel Anjum Qadri said that the trust reposed by the Shura will be honored, and the struggle for the implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa ﷺ and the protection of the honor of the Prophet ﷺ will be intensified across Sindh.

Senior Vice President Hafiz Muhammad Samoon stated that minorities in Sindh are being given protection, whereas restrictions are being imposed on Muslims. “A Muslim below the age of 18 cannot be officially identified as a Muslim nor can he enter into marriage, which is extremely concerning,” he said.

General Secretary Muhammad Aslam Langah said that they will fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them with complete dedication.
