Karachi – Pakistan (HRNW)- The Karachi Bar Association has officially announced its 2026 elections, scheduled to be held on 23 December 2025. Member of the Sindh Bar Council, Haq Nawaz Talpur, has been appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner for the process.
The association has issued a notice stating that members whose names are not included in the election voter list can submit proof of payment by 22 December to have their names added to the additional list.
Despite these provisions, candidates have expressed serious concerns over the accuracy and transparency of the voter list, emphasizing the need for fair and credible elections.
