Karachi (HRNW) — An attempted robbery in Clifton was successfully foiled thanks to the quick action of local residents.
Two suspects were caught by citizens and handed over to the police. The arrested individuals have been identified as Taha and Wajahat, and a pistol was recovered from their possession.
Initial investigations revealed that suspect Wajahat falsely claimed to be the son of a police officer. Additionally, a photograph of the suspects in police uniform was found in their wallets, raising suspicions of fake affiliations.
Clifton police have taken both suspects into custody and launched further investigations. The prompt action of residents prevented a major crime from taking place.
