FIA Immigration Thwarts Attempt to Travel to Europe Using Fake Documents

Sialkot (HRNW)The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Sialkot intercepted a passenger attempting to travel to Europe with fraudulent documents at Sialkot Airport. The individual, identified as Kamran Yousaf from Gujrat, was attempting to fly to Greece on a work visa via Flight G9-553.

During immigration clearance, authorities found the passport and visa suspicious, discovering that the Greece work visa was forged. Preliminary investigation revealed that the passenger had paid an agent PKR 2 million for the fake visa.

Kamran Yousaf was offloaded from the flight and transferred to the Composite Circle Gujranwala for further investigation and to identify the agents involved in the forgery.

FIA officials urged citizens to:

  • Always follow legal channels for international travel.
  • Never hand over personal documents, including passports, to unrelated individuals.
  • Obtain visas only through the relevant embassy or authorized visa application center.
