Karachi – Pakistan (HRNW)- In a startling revelation, it has been reported that traders and builders in Karachi have been receiving extortion calls from numbers registered in Iran, Dubai, Nigeria, and the Philippines. According to the police report, eight separate incidents have been recorded across multiple areas. Several suspects have been arrested, and one was killed during a police encounter.
The Sindh IG stated that the ringleaders are based abroad, and a special investigation unit is actively pursuing the matter. Authorities are urging local businesses to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
