Karachi – Pakistan (HRNW)- Easypaisa Digital Bank has introduced a major new service enabling its users to send and receive payments in over 100 currencies across more than 100 countries directly into their Easypaisa accounts. This move is designed to make international remittances faster, safer, and more convenient for customers.
The announcement was made during a dinner hosted for stakeholders at a local hotel to celebrate the first anniversary of Easypaisa’s digital banking operations. The event was attended by federal ministers, regulators, policymakers, business leaders, and media representatives. The ceremony was hosted by Board Chairman Irfan Wahab Khan, ANT International President Douglas Fegan, and Easypaisa Digital Bank CEO Jahanzeb Khan.
In 2025 alone, Easypaisa’s platform recorded over 3.8 billion transactions, with a total value exceeding PKR 15 trillion. The company emphasized that the new cross-border service will enhance financial inclusion and streamline international payments for Pakistani users.
