Jamshoro (HRNW)- Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages, Jamshoro, held an exhibition of ceramic pots and plates adorned with exquisite Turkish calligraphy at the AR Nagori Gallery. The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, as part of the Turkish National Day celebration week, emphasizing cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.
The exhibition showcased the creative outcomes of a three-day Ceramic Workshop held from October 21 to 23, 2025, where students explored the fusion of traditional ceramic techniques with Turkish artistic motifs.
In her remarks, Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto lauded the students’ creativity and craftsmanship, encouraging them to continue experimenting with ceramics and other visual art forms. She said that such artistic initiatives not only strengthen our cultural ties with Türkiye but also inspire innovation in traditional crafts.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Acting Registrar Muhammad Suleman Bhutto, Director Finance Imran Noor, Chairpersons of Fine Arts and Architecture Fazal Ellahi Khan and Fahad Shams Nizamani, faculty member Muhammad Hassan Kashigar, Curator Kashif Shahzad and others.
The exhibition was organized under the supervision of faculty member Muhammad Hassan Kashigar and Calligrapher Athar Abbas Zaidi, whose guidance helped students bring their artistic visions to life.
