Hyderabad (HRNW)- Dr. Sahibzada Abu al-Khair Muhammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan and Milli Yakjehti Council Pakistan, has said that November 6, 1947, is one of the darkest days in the history of Kashmir, when thousands of Kashmiri Muslims were martyred under a pre-planned massacre. This day reminds the world of the sacrifices of those hundreds of thousands of martyrs who laid down their lives in the struggle for the right to self-determination.
He said that the entire Pakistani nation pays rich tribute to these great martyrs and expresses complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people, who are still continuing their struggle for freedom.
Dr. Zubair stated that the massacre of Muslims in Jammu in 1947, the genocide, forced displacement, and illegal settlement of Indian Hindus are among the most heinous crimes in human history.
He further said that gross violations of human rights, arbitrary arrests, demolition of homes, and brutal oppression continue in occupied Kashmir, yet the conscience of the international community remains silent.
Dr. Abu al-Khair emphasized that Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan, Milli Yakjehti Council, and the patriotic people of Pakistan fully support the freedom struggle of Kashmiris at every level and demand that the United Nations implement its resolutions to grant the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination.
He added that the time has come for the Muslim Ummah to unite and strengthen its political and moral support for the people of Kashmir, because Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan, and without it, Pakistan remains incomplete.
