Former Congo President Joseph Kabila Sentenced to Death in Absentia by Military Court
Kinshasa (HRNW) – Congo’s former president Joseph Kabila has been sentenced to death by a military court on charges of murder and rebellion. According to the World News Agency, the death sentence was handed down by a military court headed by Lieutenant General Joseph Mutombo Katlai. Former president Joseph Kabila was not present in court at the time of the death sentence and is still hiding in an unknown location. However, it is believed that he may be in Rwanda.
