Washington (HRNW)- At the invitation of the US President, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Washington on an official visit, where President Trump gave him a warm welcome.
According to the World News Agency, Donald Trump welcomed the Saudi Crown Prince to the White House and spoke words of appreciation.
Upon the arrival of Mohammed bin Salman, US Air Force fighter jets saluted him. President Trump also introduced him to the cabinet.
It should be remembered that the Saudi Crown Prince visited the United States for the first time in 2018, and at that time Donald Trump was still the country’s president.
This visit was made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the complicated situation and severe criticism arising from the murder of a Saudi journalist in Istanbul.
However, now 40-year-old Mohammed bin Salman has proven his leadership skills on the global stage and is considered an emerging leader.
Therefore, it is hoped that this time the Saudi Crown Prince will be able to sign several major defense and energy agreements with the United States.
The meeting between the two leaders is likely to discuss the purchase of fighter jets, the situation in the Middle East, and in particular the issue of recognizing Israel.
