Karachi (HRNW)- During the last week, during the anti-crime drive in the city, the district police had 20 encounters with robbers. In the exchange of fire, 03 robbers were killed and 19 injured robbers were arrested, including 33 suspects. 26 different types of illegal weapons and 08 motorcycles were recovered from the arrested suspects.
The police arrested a total of more than 872 suspects in the East, West and South zones of Karachi during the last week. During the ongoing campaign against drugs by the police and during the police encounters, 79 kg 668 grams of hashish, ice/crystal and heroin worth millions of rupees were recovered from different areas.
More than 112 different types of illegal weapons and ammunition used in looting and other incidents were recovered from the arrested suspects. Karachi Police conducted operations in different areas and recovered a total of 38 stolen motorcycles and 01 large vehicle. Karachi Police will continue to take steps to eliminate crime, restore law and order, and protect the public.
