Jakarta (HRNW)- An explosion ripped through a mosque inside a school complex in the Indonesian capital Jakarta during Friday prayers, injuring dozens of people. Police said at least 54 people were taken to various hospitals, some in critical condition.
Police Chief Asep Edi Suhari told a televised briefing that the investigation into the blast was ongoing and experts were collecting evidence from the scene, Reuters reported. The blast occurred at a mosque inside a navy compound in the Kelapa Gading area of north Jakarta.
