Karachi (HRNW)- A 6-member delegation led by the President of the Dumper Association, Haji Liaquat Mehsud, had an important meeting with DIG Driving License Sindh Muhammad Younis Chandio in his office.
The delegation included Chairman Haji Syed Haleem Khan, General Secretary Sher Nawaz Mehsud, Deputy General Secretary Haji Gran Muhammad Bajauri, Malir District President Ibrahim Mehsud, Patron-in-Chief Keamari District Mian Sultan Zeb and Qayyum Bajauri.
The main objective of the meeting was to simplify the procedure for obtaining a Heavy Traffic Vehicle (HTV) license. The delegation requested the DIG to provide flexibility and convenience in the procedure for issuing driving licenses so that transporters do not face difficulties.
During the meeting, it was also agreed that the (HTV) Heavy Traffic Vehicle license will not be limited to the Clifton branch only, but it will be extended to 3 to 4 different branches of Karachi.
Additionally, the delegation also suggested that driving license candidates would be able to take the test in their own personal vehicle.
