Karachi (HRNW) – Muhajir Qaumi Movement Chairman Afaq Ahmed and other accused appeared in court. A case has been registered against the accused for burning a dumper. The accused have filed a petition to transfer the case to another court.
We want our case to be transferred to the same court where the initial hearing was held. The indictment of Afaq Ahmed and 12 other accused has been postponed once again. The court has adjourned the hearing of the case until July 7. Afaq Ahmed is accused of trying to incite the workers through an audio message.
The container was set on fire at the behest of Afaq Ahmed. Sugar sacks were also stolen from the container. The accused admitted that Afaq Ahmed had ordered the burning of the container. A case has been registered against Afaq Ahmed and others at Landhi police station.
