Karachi (HRNW)- The funeral prayers of policeman Shehryar Ali, who was martyred in Karachi by unknown assailants yesterday, were offered at the Central Police Office Karachi. A police contingent in full uniform offered a martyr’s salute. Constable Shehryar Ali, posted in the AVLC unit of Sindh Police, was martyred in the firing of unknown assailants within the limits of Yousaf Plaza police station yesterday.
The funeral prayers were attended by IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional IG Establishment, Additional IG Karachi, Zonal DIGs, DIG CIA, Traffic, District SSPs Karachi, officers and men, as well as the heirs, relatives, friends, fellow field officers and personnel and the people of the area.
IG Sindh, Additional IG Establishment, Additional IG Karachi offered prayers and Fateha while expressing their condolences to the martyr’s heirs. The killers of the martyr will be brought to justice at all costs. I assure the martyr’s heirs of full support and assistance from the Sindh Police Department.
