SSUET Appoint new hockey coach Olympian Sameer Hussain

Karachi (HRNW)- Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) held at yesterday a special ceremony to appointed Olympian Sameer Hussain as the University’s new hockey coach. The ceremony is a major step towards strengthening the University’s sports program and promoting hockey among young players.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Sir Syed University Registrar Commodore (R.) Syed Sarfraz Ali (SI)M, Olympian Qamar Ibrahim, sports journalist Yahya Hussaini, Director Sports Noman uddin, and international hockey umpire Nadeem Saeed are also present. Chancellor Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan highlighted the importance of the occasion and the university’s commitment to promoting sportsmanship. The Chancellor said that the University is playing its role in the field of sports.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sir Syed University Chancellor Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan praised Olympian Sameer Hussain and said that Sameer Hussain is not only an excellent hockey player but also a great human being. His appointment as a hockey coach will greatly benefit the students of our university. Our players will learn discipline, skill and sportsmanship under his guidance. The university administration hopes that the experience and dedication of Olympian Sameer Hussain will inspire the students to pursue hockey with passion and professionalism, ultimately helping Sir Syed University revive its sporting legacy.
