Germany Bans Muslim Interactive Organization Over Alleged Anti-Constitutional Activities

Hamburg (HRNW)- Germany has banned a Muslim organization on charges of activities against the country’s constitutional principles and attempts to establish a caliphate.

According to the international news agency, police raided 7 locations in the federal city of Hamburg, Germany, where the center of the organization Muslim Interactive was located.

German police have not yet announced the arrest of anyone, but offices and other locations linked to the organization have been closed.

The German Interior Minister said that an organization that tries to weaken a free society and harm the country from within through hatred will never be tolerated.

It should be remembered that this organization came to the center of attention in April 2024 when more than 1,200 people participated in one of its demonstrations in Hamburg.

These protesters accused the German government of Islamophobia, while some participants held banners with the slogan “The caliphate is the solution.”

According to the German Interior Ministry, Muslim Interactive is also accused of denying women’s rights, making hateful statements against Israel, and spreading propaganda against the German social order.

The German Interior Ministry said that based on these allegations, the government announced the dissolution of the Muslim Interactive organization and the confiscation of all its assets.

Hamburg Interior Minister Andy Grote welcomed the decision, saying that the authorities had dismantled a dangerous and active Islamist group.

Police also raided the offices of two other organizations, Generation Islam and Realt Islam, in Berlin and the western state of Hesse.

It should be noted that Germany has banned several Muslim organizations in the past, including the organization Ansar, which was banned in 2021.

The Muslim organization Ansar was accused of allegedly funding extremists under the guise of charitable work.
