Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Control of Narcotics Amendment Bill was presented in the Sindh Assembly-Law Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar presented the bill in the house-This is the Narcotics Control Act-In 2024, we have created a separate department-Many cases went to the courts-There is a judge for narcotics in every district-
These cases used to go to the session or additional session judge-The police will now get the authority from the new law-We are creating new courts which will be independent courts-Drug cases will be tried in these courts. There were some loopholes in the law-That is why we are bringing the amendment.
The Sindh Assembly unanimously passed the Sindh Narcotics Control Amendment Bill. The bill was presented in the house by Law Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar.
