Ex-Home Minister Chidambaram Says No Evidence of Pakistan’s Involvement in Pahalgam Attack, Claims Attackers Were Indian Trained

New Delhi (HRNW)- Former Home Minister P Chidambaram has made a shocking revelation regarding the Pahalgam attack, saying that there is no evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the incident, but the attackers were actually Indian citizens who received terrorist training within India.

P Chidambaram, while giving an interview to the Indian media, said that why is the government assuming without any evidence that the attackers came from Pakistan? If so, why has the evidence not been presented? He said that neither the attackers have been identified nor any clear arrests have been made so far.

26 people lost their lives in the attack in April 2025 in the tourist area of Pahalgam in occupied Kashmir, after which India launched a counter-attack called ‘Operation Sindoor’, but despite the passage of three months, the investigation could not be completed.

After Chidambaram’s revelation, a question mark has been placed on the allegations leveled by India against Pakistan. It should be remembered that Pakistan not only strongly condemned the attack but also offered cooperation for a transparent and joint investigation.
