Karachi (HRNW)- To review the security arrangements for Muharram, SSP Malir Kashif Aftab Abbasi made a surprise visit to the modern Command and Control Room established at Malir City Police Station. SDPO Malir City was also with him.
SSP Malir discussed security matters with the police officers and personnel present on the spot. SSP Malir directed that a close watch be kept on processions, gatherings and sensitive places, and immediate response be ensured to every suspicious activity.
SSP Malir, while reviewing the CCTV monitors and wireless system installed in the control room, questioned the staff and took the latest report of the situation. SSP Malir emphasized that “no negligence in security will be tolerated.”
The personnel were instructed to remain fully alert at all times and keep strict vigil on the entry and exit routes, gathering places and procession routes.
