Kashmir Black Day Rally Led by Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad

Karachi (HRNW)- Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad led a rally organized by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir. The rally was held at the KMC Building on M.A. Jinnah Road.

The event was attended by Adviser to the Chief Minister of Sindh Najmi Alam, Parliamentary Leader in the City Council Karamullah Waqasi, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Dil Muhammad, Jaman Darwan, Aslam Samo, Iftikhar Tanoli, Khalil Hot, City Council members, chairmen, KMC officers, employees, and a large number of citizens.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad said that today we are observing Kashmir Black Day with the renewed commitment that the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for freedom.

He said that India’s illegal occupation of Kashmir is a blatant violation of human rights and international laws. The oppressive policies of the Modi regime have turned occupied Kashmir into a prison, where the people are deprived of their fundamental political, social, and religious rights.

Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad urged the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations to take immediate notice of the grave human rights violations and military atrocities in Kashmir and to take practical steps to ensure the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.

He further stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always supported the Kashmiri people’s right to freedom and will continue to stand with them in the future. Pakistan’s moral, political, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri cause will continue until their freedom is achieved.

Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will not go in vain, and the day is not far when the valley of Kashmir will be illuminated with the light of freedom.
