International Women’s Day

(HRNW)- Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North organized a study tour for female students from tribal districts. 61 female students from Khyber, Orakzai, Mohmand and Bajaur were taken on a tour of various places in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Murree and Abbottabad. The female students visited the historical Bala Hissar Fort in Peshawar. And took special interest in the historical artifacts in the museum located in the fort. The female students were also taken on a tour of the Army Museum in Rawalpindi. And a special briefing was given regarding the history, achievements, martyrs and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. Government to Launch Digital Portal for Asset Disclosure of Officials on IMF’s Demand

Islamabad (HRNW)- The federal government has decided to launch a digital portal for disclosure of assets of government officials on the demand of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and in this regard, the Ministry of Finance and the Cabinet Division have prepared a draft that will be submitted to the International Monetary Fund. According to the federal government, a modern digital portal will be introduced for disclosure of assets of government officials, on which it will be mandatory for all officers to disclose their assets. The government has also decided to quickly dispose of tax cases pending in the courts to meet the revenue shortfall, in which the Prime Minister’s Office will assist. Sir Syed University Appoints New Convenors to Enhance Research, Sports, and Cultural Activities

Karachi (HRNW)- Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology has officially announced the appointments of Convenors for three key departments: the Literary Art & Culture Forum, Sports, and the Research Journal/Newsletter. The distinguished poet Tariq Sabzwari has been appointed as the Convenor of the Literary Art & Culture Forum, while Wasif Nazar Siddiqui has taken on the role of Convenor for Sports. Additionally, Masood Alam has assumed the position of Convenor for the Research Journal and Newsletter.
