Bangkok (HRNW)- The Constitutional Court has removed Prime Minister Pai Thongsing Tran Shinawatra from office over a leaked phone call with Cambodia’s former leader Hun Sen.
The court ruled that Shinawatra, 39, put personal interests ahead of national interests and violated ethical standards during a June telephone conversation with the Cambodian leader.
The nine-member Constitutional Court dismissed Shinawatra for misconduct. Turkey has cut off trade relations with Israel – Israel will no longer be able to use Turkish airspace and sea lanes.
