Post-Mortem Completed for Woman Found Dead Near Clifton China Port, Investigation Underway

Karachi (HRNW) Authorities have completed the post-mortem of a woman whose severely beaten body was discovered near Clifton China Port in Karachi. Police say the victim was likely murdered at a different location and later dumped at the site.

The deceased, estimated to be 30–35 years old, was found with her hands and feet tied. Initial reports indicate the body is 1–2 days old. The post-mortem was conducted at Jinnah Hospital, and a case has been registered at Boat Basin Police Station under Section 302 (murder).

According to SSP South, the victim’s neck bore marks of violence, and her face was mutilated after death, possibly with a sharp instrument. Authorities also suspect that acid may have been thrown on the face, making identification extremely difficult.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the murder, including possible motives and locations where the crime may have taken place. The case remains under active investigation as law enforcement seeks leads to apprehend the perpetrators.
