Hailstorm in Southern Brazil Injures Over 200, Causes Widespread Damage

Erichem (HRNW) Hailstorms in southern Brazil have terrified residents, with what appeared to be a hailstorm.

Parts of southern Brazil have been hit by severe storms this week, with large hailstones falling from the sky, causing havoc as golf ball-sized hailstones fell from the sky.

The hailstorm caused the most damage in the city of Erichem in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, with more than 200 people injured and hospitalized in various accidents. In many places, hailstones the size of golf balls fell, causing roofs to collapse and several vehicles to be destroyed.
