Karachi (HRNW)– Pakistan Rangers Sindh carried out 17 large-scale targeted operations across Karachi, cracking down on extortion networks and organized crime. The operations, conducted in areas including Lyari, Korangi, Orangi Town, and Bin Qasim, led to the arrest of 34 dangerous extortionists affiliated with various criminal gangs.
Authorities recovered illegal weapons from the suspects, and FIRs have been registered against them under extortion and criminal laws. Pakistan Rangers Sindh have announced that further operations will continue across all districts of Karachi to eliminate extortion entirely from the city.
The business community and local residents expressed full confidence in the Rangers’ efforts, praising the timely and effective operations. Citizens lauded the measures for restoring peace and security in Karachi, emphasizing that no enemy of the city’s law and order, no matter how powerful, can escape the law.
