Shocking Revelation: ‘Ghost Doctors’ Case from Kandi Kot Reaches Sindh High Court

Kandi Kot / Kashmore (HRNW) The issue of alleged negligence, corruption, and ghost doctors in the Health Department of Kandi Kot, Kashmore District, has reached the courts. According to sources, a concerned citizen has filed a petition in the Sindh High Court, naming the Provincial Health Minister, Secretary of Health, and DHO Kashmore as respondents.

The petition claims that most government hospitals in Kandi Kot and across Kashmore have become hubs for “ghost doctors”, who have not reported for duty for years, yet continue to receive salaries and benefits. Hospitals lack both medicines and doctors, forcing impoverished patients to suffer extreme hardships.

The petitioner has requested the court to:

  • Take immediate action against absentee doctors
  • Conduct a transparent inquiry into ongoing corruption and nepotism in the Health Department, Kashmore
  • Implement effective measures to provide citizens with basic healthcare facilities

The public has welcomed this step and hopes that the Sindh High Court will take strict action against those responsible, ensuring that citizens receive their fundamental right to healthcare.

This case has now raised serious questions about the state of the healthcare system across Sindh.
