NYT reveals how Modi failed coronavirus test

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – American newspaper New York Times in its article has revealed that how coronavirus polices of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed. The article claims that Indian masses are losing faith in PM Modi as his policies have starved the poor.

The article says that the leaders are best known by results of their decisions and despite strict lockdown of over two months, India has reported more cases and deaths from novel coronavirus as compared to neighboring Pakistan.

The newspaper further points out that in South Asia other factors other than lockdown are also important, which Modi ignored. It further claims that heightened tension at LOC was to cover up internal failures of Indian government as pointed out by DG ISPR.

According to New York Times, India’s coronavirus death toll suggests that Modi government did not take timely actions and his policies have starved people as mostly poor fell victim to the failed policies.

This proves that Modi’s India is only for the rich as poor, lower castes and minorities were left helpless against novel coronavirus, the article concluded.
