Widespread Protests in Iran Lead to Internet Blackout; 68 Reported Dead

Tehran (HRNW)- Protests in Iran have intensified across the country and the government has imposed a complete internet blackout. The demonstrations have spread to Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, Mashhad, Kerman and all 31 provinces.

According to sources, 68 people have been killed so far in the 11 days of violent protests, while many others have been injured. No further details have been released regarding the cause of the protests and the measures taken by local authorities.
