Karachi (District West Police) — The West, Manghopir Police Station acted on a confidential tip-off and successfully arrested two suspects involved in drug trafficking.
According to SSP West, Tariq Elahi Mastoi, 440 grams of cannabis and cash from drug sales were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.
The suspects have been booked under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act. The arrested individuals are Ali Ahmed, son of Abdul Salim, and Babar, son of Yusuf.
The SSP further stated that both suspects are habitual offenders and have previously been arrested in the following cases:
- FIR No. 109/2023 under Sections 6(i) and 9A of the Narcotics Act, Manghopir Police Station.
- FIR No. 147/2024 under Sections 9(i) and 3A of the Narcotics Act, Manghopir Police Station.
