Karachi (HRNW)- A leakage has been identified in a 24-inch diameter dia. line near Zoo Gate No. 2. According to a spokesperson of the Water Corporation, the water pressure on the affected line has been reduced to protect the water system due to the leakage.
The spokesperson said that the dewatering process has been started to repair the line, which will be formally started as soon as it is completed. According to the Water Corporation, the repair work will be completed by tomorrow, Tuesday.
Due to repair activities, water supply will be temporarily suspended in the Garden, Old City area and around Nishtar Road. Appealing for cooperation from the citizens, the Water Corporation has assured that water supply will be restored as soon as the repair is completed.
