Caracas – Venezuela & San Salvador – El Salvador – (HRNW)– On 27 December, a group of Venezuelan migrants gathered in Caracas demanding justice after alleged physical and psychological abuse during detention in El Salvador.
The migrants were initially sent there under U.S. government policy and now accuse authorities of serious mistreatment and denial of due process.
They are calling on international human rights bodies to investigate and ensure accountability for violations.
