US Sends Aircraft Carrier Abraham Lincoln and F-15 Jets to Middle East Amid Rising Tensions with Iran

Washington (HRNW)- The US aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” has left for the Middle East, while more than eleven F-15 fighter jets have been deployed.

According to details, in the context of increasing tensions with Iran, the US has decided to further increase its military presence in the Middle East.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has declared a high-level and 24-hour high alert state for a month.

US officials said that the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has been sent to the Middle East along with escort ships, while additional warplanes are also being deployed to strengthen air defense in the region.

The Defense Security Asia report said that the US has delivered more than eleven F-15 fighter jets to an airport in Jordan, which is part of US preparations in view of the increasing tensions in the region.

Experts say that the aim of US military actions is to deal with any possible situation in the region and provide protection to its allies, while the possibility of further military movements is also being expressed in the coming days.
