US Operation Error Undercover Anti-ISIS Spy Mistakenly Killed in Syria

Damascus (HRNW)– A serious oversight has been revealed during a secret operation by US forces in Syria, in which an undercover spy who had been providing information against the organization for years was killed instead of an ISIS official. The deceased has been identified as Khalid al-Masood.

According to reports, Khalid al-Masood had been inside ISIS for a long time, collecting important information and passing it on to Syrian authorities and coalition forces. However, in the recent US raid, he was mistakenly targeted as an ISIS operative.

The family of the slain spy and Syrian officials have confirmed the incident and said that Khalid al-Masood was playing a very important role in anti-ISIS activities, and his death is a serious intelligence failure.

The incident has raised serious questions about US operational policies and intelligence coordination.
