US Offers Cash Incentive to Undocumented Immigrants for Voluntary Departure

Washington, USA (HRNW)Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced a program offering financial incentives to undocumented immigrants who voluntarily leave the country by the end of the year.

According to the DHS statement, foreign nationals who sign up through the CBP Home app for voluntary deportation will receive a free plane ticket to return to their home country along with $3,000 in cash.

Previously, the cash incentive was $1,000, but the DHS has increased it to $3,000 to encourage voluntary departures.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem warned that those who do not comply may face arrest, forced deportation, and permanent bans on reentry into the United States.
