Washington (HRNW)– The US administration under President Donald Trump has announced financial incentives for immigrants living in the United States illegally if they voluntarily leave the country.
According to foreign media reports, the US Department of Homeland Security stated that illegal immigrants who deport themselves by the end of the year will be provided with free air tickets and $3,000 in cash.
The department explained that immigrants who register for voluntary return through the CBP Home app will receive the cash along with travel arrangements. Previously, the incentive amount was $1,000, which has now been increased to $3,000.
