US Court Challenge Filed Against Trump Administration’s Visa Suspension Affecting 75 Countries, Including Pakistan

New York (HRNW)- The Trump administration’s decision to suspend the processing of immigrant visas for 75 countries, including Pakistan, has been legally challenged in a US court.

A coalition of civil rights organizations has filed a lawsuit against the US State Department in a federal court in New York. The plaintiffs argue that the policy seriously undermines the decades-old foundation of US immigration law and discriminates against citizens of affected countries.
