Washington (HRNW)- The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has issued a warning to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, urging them to avoid provocations and refrain from any irregular steps during upcoming military exercises. CENTCOM emphasized that unsafe or dangerous actions will not be tolerated.
According to CENTCOM, the Revolutionary Guards must conduct their naval exercises professionally and safely, ensuring the freedom of international navigation. Any unsafe exercises, irregular operations, or maneuvers near a US aircraft carrier will be met with strong responses.
The US military stated that it will protect the security of its personnel, ships, and aircraft and is prepared to respond decisively to any dangerous actions.
This warning comes as Iran plans naval exercises in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical international trade route through which over 100 commercial ships pass daily. CENTCOM warned that any provocative action could escalate tensions and increase the risk of conflict.
