US-Based Bloomberg Editor Appeals to COAS Over Land Grabbing in Karachi

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) – Altaf-ullah Khan, a prominent US-based journalist and editor for Bloomberg News since 1990, has appealed to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) for intervention after finding his property in Karachi seized by land grabbers. Khan, who has resided in the United States for 36 years, discovered upon his return to Pakistan in 2026 that his 720-square-yard house in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 10, near Kamran Chowrangi, had been illegally occupied. Despite possessing KDA ownership verification in his name, he alleged that the seizure occurred under the patronage of SHO Gulistan-e-Jauhar Kashif Abbasi. Khan further claimed that the local police failed to take any action or arrest the land grabbers when he approached the station for help.
